Welcome to the inaugural edition of my newsletter. I have been working in the world of Thalevir for the past two years and look forward to sharing new insights into the world and its people.
This summer, I reached two milestones of distinction. The first is that I made the novella, Before the Seven Kingdoms, available on my website and on Royal Road. The second is that The Mushkinek Uprising, a Thalevir Novel, was released in Amazon Kindle and paperback editions on September 22, 2026.

Thousands of years after the events of Before the Seven Kingdoms, Mushkinek, driven by tragic loss and obsession, rose from relatively humble circumstances to become one of Cendomvita’s most notorious villains. His rise demanded a biographer, so he conscripted Herte, a renowned historian, for the job.
This record explores the fragility of society and the ease with which human nature can be exploited. Although forced to document Mushkinek’s life and accomplishments, Herte finds himself torn between academic duty, self-preservation, and duty to humanity.
Mushkinek, on the other hand, has detailed plans with backups to his backups but still must adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
Witness the price exacted by the Mushkinek Uprising from Mushkinek, Herte, and Cendomvita as a whole. Consider how the novel’s themes echo through events unfolding in the world around you.

I’m grateful to everyone who volunteered to read an advance copy of The Mushkinek Uprising. I deeply appreciate their time and attention. Their feedback and observations helped me improve the book’s content and presentation before publication.
Although the ARC period for this book has closed, six more Thalevir novels are in the works.

The new Thalevir Timeline presents Thalevir’s history in chronological order, from the earliest surviving accounts to the latest upheavals. Readers can trace how people, institutions, events, and choices remain connected across thousands of years.

I have been working on The Weight of Final Betrayals, the sixth novel set in Thalevir, over the summer. I’m down to the last three or four explosive chapters and excited about how the story lines are converging toward the conclusionI envisioned when I started the Thalevir project.
With The Mushkinek Uprising available as an ebook and paperback, I’m now preparing to invite beta readers to provide feedback on The Weight of Small Betrayals, the first book in The Vidoran Crisis.

Before The Seven Kingdoms

|
Long before Cendomvita became the continent of the Seven Kingdoms, Orudara stood as the cradle of human civilization in a world without gods, magic, or fate. Its people built prosperity through order, trade, and hierarchy, trusting structure to secure permanence. Prosperity revealed humanity at its worst. Survival demanded its best.
When their land fails through famine, violence, and fragmentation, the displaced turn to the sea with little more than what they can carry and no assurance of welcome.
What they carry with them threatens their future. Memory anchors identity but resists change. What saves them binds them together, not through idealism but through necessity.
Between endurance and collapse, a new civilization begins to form, shaped not by destiny, but by what people refuse to abandon when everything else falls away.
