Mission, Vision, and Values

The Cendomvita Mandate
It is important to understand that these gathered records are the result of an ongoing traversal through the Great Archives of Maadigan’s Royal University. Specifically, in my role as a scholar of Cendomvita , I hold a mandate to translate manuscripts from realms beyond, such as the intricate and often perilous world of Thalevir. Consequently, the following translations provide rare insight into the Thalevirian people. Furthermore, the subjects within these records exhibit the full spectrum of the human condition, from the depraved to the sublime, acting as a mirror to both my world and yours.

My Mission: Bridging the Chasm between Worlds
My primary mission is to act as a linguistic and cultural bridge between the sprawling history of Thalevir and the modern readers of this realm. In the past, history in my home world existed as a living, breathing entity often written in the shadows of the Great Archives. Now, I aim to preserve those narratives so they resonate with a new audience. In addition to the Thalevirian manuscripts, I actively identify and edit neglected works from your world and others. Because of this work, I can ensure that the wisdom of the “beyond” is never lost to time.

The Vision: A Universal Library
Ultimately, I envision a future where the literature of Thalevir serves as a beacon for empathy and understanding across all borders. Therefore, my vision is to build a universal library where everyone can access the “Great Archives.” By doing so, we find the common threads that bind all sentient beings together. Whether I am translating an epic from Thalevir or editing a forgotten manuscript from Earth, I maintain a singular goal: the elevation of the written word as the ultimate vessel for truth.

Core Values of the Scholar
As a scholar and author, I operate under a strict code of ethics derived from the Cendomvita tradition:
Unwavering Integrity: For instance, I perform every translation with a commitment to the original author’s intent, ensuring that no nuance of Thalevirian culture is lost.
Cultural Preservation: I believe that stories are the heartbeat of a civilization; therefore, I treat preserving them as a sacred duty.
Intellectual Discovery: Finally, I maintain a relentless passion for history by constantly seeking out hidden manuscripts that challenge our perception of reality.
