Rusmaria

Rusmaria stands on Cendomvita’s northern coast. Vidora borders it to the east, and Yisea to the west. To the south, the Central Mountains form a hard boundary where Rusmaria meets Elowen and Ognenstrof. Carved into the harsher edges of the continent, the kingdom reflects endurance rather than abundance.

Neighboring realms often regard Rusmaria as a peripheral power. It has endured precisely because it never relied on comfort or excess. Its people value discipline over luxury and preparation over optimism. Instead of large cities, small villages spread across the land. Dense northern forests and rising mountains dominate the terrain. Each generation grows up with a clear understanding of scarcity, vigilance, and consequence.

Rusmaria survives on natural resources rather than arable land. Mining, lumber, fishing, and the fur trade form the backbone of its economy. Forest soil offers little support for large-scale farming. Even so, villagers maintain small plots. They draw modest harvests through persistence rather than fertility.

Rusmarian politics mirror the land itself. The system remains pragmatic, guarded, and slow to change. Leaders enter alliances with care and abandon them only at great cost. Loyalty runs deep once earned, but trust is never freely given. Power rests on preparedness and reputation. This makes Rusmaria a quiet but consequential presence among the Seven Kingdoms.

When conflict spreads across Cendomvita, Rusmaria rarely sparks it. Instead, the kingdom waits, watches, and endures. It survives while others fracture beneath ambition.
