Mushkinek is remembered as one of the most notorious villains in the history of Cendomvita. His name alone evokes fear, and for many, explanation is unnecessary. He was born an only child to a middle class merchant family in Maadigan, within Hireotha. His early life appeared unremarkable, but it was marked by loss. His mother suffered from a chronic illness and died when he was twelve, an event that left a lasting impact.
At ten, Mushkinek developed an obsessive fixation on Princess Ta’arah. The attachment was not mutual, but it shaped his identity. As she grew closer to the throne, his resentment turned toward Prince Noam, not for his actions, but because he stood in the way. This obsession hardened into hostility and then into cruelty.
Mushkinek’s behavior grew increasingly violent. He began with animals and later turned to people. By his late teens, he had secured wealth and underworld connections. He erased his former identity and cut ties to his past. From there, he focused entirely on expansion. His influence spread across every kingdom of Cendomvita. He acquired land in the Central Mountains and established fortified strongholds capable of housing thousands of soldiers.
A year before launching his uprising, Mushkinek conscripted Herte, a historian of the Royal University of Maadigan, to document his life. It is only through Herte’s work that Mushkinek’s origins are known. Without those records, he might exist only as legend. Instead, he stands as a reminder that some monsters are not born suddenly, but built with intention over time.
